Badges

Badges are facts we measure, not ads.

DFW Apartment Group checks every Live apartment each morning at 6 AM Central. A badge shows only while its facts hold. No one can pay for one, and badges don’t change the order apartments are listed in.

Always Current badge

Always Current

The leasing office confirmed its listing at least once a week, with no gaps.

What it takes: Confirmed at least every 7 days, with levels at 30, 100 and 365 days in a row.

When it comes off: A gap of more than 7 days between confirmations, after a 3-day grace period. The streak starts over.

Fresh Pricing badge

Fresh Pricing

Every rent on the page was confirmed or updated in the last 7 days.

What it takes: Rents confirmed or updated in the last 7 days, on every active floorplan.

When it comes off: Any active floorplan's rent older than 7 days, after a 3-day grace period.

Complete Listing badge

Complete Listing

The listing has everything Guests look for: photos, floorplans, rents, fees and details.

What it takes: Every required and recommended listing item done: the same list as the Listing health score.

When it comes off: An item becomes missing, after a 3-day grace period.

Clear Fees badge

Clear Fees

Every fee and utility is answered, so the page shows the real monthly cost.

What it takes: Every fee field and every utility answered, even when the answer is "none" or "included".

When it comes off: A fee or utility goes blank, after a 3-day grace period.

Residents Recommend badge

Residents Recommend

People who live there recommend it, measured by Net Promoter Score.

What it takes: A Resident Net Promoter Score of 50 or higher in the last 12 months, from at least 25 qualifying responses and from at least 20% of the apartment's units. A response qualifies with a unit number or a confirmed email, one per unit (the latest), and not flagged or excluded.

When it comes off: The score, the count or the share of units drops below the bar, after a 3-day grace period.

Spot checks

Our team calls leasing offices to check that what an apartment confirmed was accurate. If a confirmation turns out to be wrong, the Always Current streak starts over from the next accurate confirmation, at 30 days again.

Grace period

When a badge’s facts stop holding, the badge stays for a 3-day grace period so the leasing office can fix it. After that it comes off until it’s earned again.
