How you get paid
$200* rebate at move-in. A $50 gift card for every friend you refer.
Apartment communities pay locators a referral fee when a Guest we send signs a lease. Most services keep all of it. We share it, because we'd rather be the team you tell your friends about.
The $200* rebate
- Start your search with us before you tour or apply anywhere.
- List DFW Apartment Group as your referral source at first contact, on the guest card, and on the rental application.
- Sign a lease of 6 months or longer at a participating community that pays locator fees and permits rebates. We'll tell you before you sign if one doesn't.
- Move in. Once the community pays our invoice, typically 45–90 days after move-in, we send your $200* within 5 business days by Zelle or check.
The $50 referral gift card
- You get a personal code when you start a search.
- Friends and past clients (no real estate license): a $50 gift card redeemable only for goods or merchandise (e.g. Amazon, Target, Starbucks). No cash and no cash equivalents. Issued after the referred renter signs a lease and the community pays our locator fee.
Real estate agents
Licensed real estate agents: 25% of our locator fee, paid to the agent's sponsoring broker under a written referral agreement. Never paid directly to the agent.
The fine print, in plain English
DFW Apartment Group is compensated by apartment communities when a renter we refer signs a lease, and we share a portion of that fee with you as a rebate. Payment of the rebate is subject to the consent of the party we represent in the transaction and to other restrictions. It is available only at participating communities that pay locator fees and permit rebates. You must list DFW Apartment Group as your referral source at first contact, on the guest card, and on the rental application. Your lease must be 6 months or longer. The rebate is paid after the community pays our locator fee, typically 45–90 days after move-in. Rebates are not available where we were not listed as your referral source or where the community does not pay us. We'll always tell you before you sign whether a community qualifies.
